2x VC Test 01 (Results)
Okay, so aside from fumigating the shop (basement), that test want well. Making a mental note to use ceramic disc capacitors for the completed villard cascade, that way, if I accidentally hook up the diodes backwards, they won’t explode (unlike electrolytic capacitors, which are polarized).
And for anyone who actually reads this, yes this is the first I said of any “tests”, and yes this is common for me, I don’t normally post test results (or document them in any way for that matter) but that was just good enough of a failure on my part for me to write this down for the world to see.
